Cancellation Policy
Please understand we are a small business with a limited season for operating, and therefore we must adhere to a cancellation policy that allows us to continue to offer yurt rentals. We recommend carrying travel insurance to protect your trip expenses.
- Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of your reservation will receive a 50% refund.
- We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and when they do, we’d prefer that our guests can still experience the yurts. Towards this goal, for cancellations more than 30 days prior to the reservation date, the nonrefundable portion (50%) of the booking fee can be transferred to another booking in the same season.
- Cancellations between 30 days and 2 weeks prior to the arrival date of your reservation will receive a 25% refund.
- No refunds 2 weeks or less from the arrival date of your reservation. This includes cancellation due to sickness or other emergency, early departures, snow conditions, avalanche hazard, getting lost, failure to locate the yurt, or changes in group attendance.
Cancellation due to Snow Conditions/Weather Conditions/Avalanche Hazard: We cannot guarantee the weather, snow conditions, or stability of the snowpack; therefore there is no refund because of weather conditions, poor snow conditions, lack of snow, too much snow, or avalanche hazard. A rental party has the option of hiring a local guide to find the safest travel routes to and around the yurt.
Cancellation due to force majeure: The above policies apply to cancellations due to personal circumstances, illness, injury, public health crises, and large scale disasters. We will work with you and your booking fee if we need to close the yurts due to force majeure events such as a public health crisis.
